Skyhill Oasis New Lux Designer Modern

It was perfectly big but small! Lots of space but we still still were able to spend quality time. Without being right on top of each other. Every room had access to the outside. The rooms were clean and the bathtubs sere absolutely amazing!!loved that the kitchen had everything we needed!

There were several exposed outlets, obvious renovations being done outside , mister? Most of the ai Alexa stuff didn’t work so there fore didn’t turn on! Master bath spa lights and out door patio tv& lights were also a no go. Couldn’t even find the remote:( The spa was not only not working it had shrimp like creatures living in it! Lastly , the outside no longer matches the pictures on the website. It was off putting and a little confusing at first

The location close to Universal Studios and freeway to other parts of LA was great as well as being in a pretty and really quiet location amongst the hills. Ty e gardens are lovely. The house spacious. The beds were really comfortable. The steam shower in the master bathroom was great and master bedroom spacious. Also loved all the bedrooms having doors to the garden areas of which there are multiple. The house is very spacious. But note there are stairs from internal garage access and again up to the living area. Fire in lounge room was great and fridge good size. Great place if self catering.

We were really disappointed that the outdoor spa was not working as this was a big reason for booking the accommodation. We had difficulty in communicating by email with the rental agency these largely went unanswered. Phone call to try to get the spa sorted resulted in being told verbally we were in a great location and Los Angeles were experiencing difficulties. However the rental agency would not accommodate our request for a partial refund when the spa was not fixed. Booking.com were really helpful and professional in trying to help us resolve this. Travelling with tech savvy young adults they also found the Alexa system for lights frustrating and difficult as the commands were specific and varied so much. The house is tired but comfortable and parts of the house was not as clean, eg. Dust on kitchen shelves, toaster oven dirty and only one dishwasher tablet left. Also felt we were bombarded with messages to be quite and not look like tourists when leaving the property for safety reason but not sure what that meant we were to look like. Overall this experience detracted from our stay.

Position and size .. outside area comprehensive.

Feeling a little tired .. furniture explicitly outside. We have a home of similar stature but has been kept updated. We had a rodent come and visit us in the kitchen but that can be anywhere. The far too complicated lighting arrangements which with a British accent were haphazard. Fine if you spent significant time there, you would pick this up.
