Quiet and peaceful hotel, ground floor room with patio out to pleasant grounds, ideal for our night away with the dog.

The location was excellent, as well as the beautiful building and garden. It was especially nice to feel we had the run of the place as if it were our own stately home! Lovely village with friendly pubs and cafes. We loved this place, very relaxed and beautiful property.
It is not a serviced hotel, although they have a very nice, clean and welcoming shared kitchen facilities, therefore worth knowing in advance (wasn't so clear on the particulars). The booking com automatic messaging telling us about how to enter the property and what our key code was didn't work, but was immediately solved with a phone call on the number provided.

location was perfect for what i needed, easy access to room, tranquil setting.
No breakfast tea bags, cobwebs in both rooms, filthy extractor fan, long black hair in my bed and on bathroom floor, tiles in shower were dirty, hairs on them and curly ones too! i could hear every foot step from above me and even the person snoring. The bed was hard and the pillows thin and uncomfortable
