We really enjoyed staying in the house. Very well appointed. Only thing that would help is better pillows on the bed and a complete curtain on the patio door.

This is the second time we booked this house for a five person artist retreat and we have decided as a group that it is the best place we have stayed and we will be back. The light is great and we like the big open living and entry area where we have room to set up our art tables and still have all the couches to take breaks plus the large exterior covered deck when the sun is shining. It’s quiet, beautifully landscaped and only one step to get in, a positive when you have so much equipment to pack in and out.

Very nice home with pictures accurately representing the property. Furnishings were comfortable and in next to new condition. Home was impeccably clean. Pride of ownership in this beautifully updated property is evident. The only problem encountered was using the electronic keypad lock on the front door to unlock the door. Specifically the numbers on the keypad are not visible until the keypad is touched, so if you start to enter your code touching the wrong digit then it won't open. Once you realize this all you have to do is remember the keypad starts with 1, 2, 3 on the top row (from left to right), with the second row containing 4, 5, 6 and the third row containing the numbers 7, 8, 9. When I first arrived and couldn't get the door to open I called the local property manager who quickly answered the call and helped solve the issue in a few minutes. I would definitely recommend the home for anyone wanting to rent a home in Birch Bay.
