The building is older and you pay for what you get. A cheap price means not a well kept bulding. My kids know no differences they enjoyed our vacation away from home. The had fun in the pool even though it is an older pool. Office was nice and help ful. We were glad tbey had at washer dryers down stairs and a working stove to feed my picky kiddos.

The hotel felt safe and was very quite at night. However, the room was dirty, especially the floor, and the towels were all stained. The room was very antiquated. Because of previous reviews we read about room cleanliness, we brought our own cleaning supplies and insect spray. Which we had to use to clean the room. Also, the beds were VERY uncomfortable. We rented 2 rooms, stayed 4 nights, and our backs will never forgive us. The A/C in one room froze you out, in the other room the A/C hardly worked. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The Mexican restaurant next store was very good. Overall, the price for 2 rooms for 4 nights made up for some of the negatives. It was a 30 to 45 minute easy drive to the beach. Bottom line, you get what you pay for.
