Villa Serena is located on the first slopes of the hills that lead up from Chiana Valley to the Etruscan town of Cortona. The town lies on the border between Tuscany and Umbria and allows you to easily visit the two regions. The setting is typical of the Tuscan countryside with olive groves, vineyards and villas nestled on the slopes of the hills. There are many ways to spend your holiday, in addition to spending time in Cortona, which alone is worth the stay, you can easily reach Lake Trasimeno, Perugia and Assisi, as well as the cities of Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano and many others. The building structure is made up of the main villa and an annex. The architectural style is unique and dates back to the ancient manor houses. Surrounding the residence is a beautiful garden with ancient trees, hedges and bushes. On the beautiful terrace, equipped for dining, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the valley and of Lake Trasimeno in the distance. A splendid swimming pool (12x4, 1.7 m deep) (15/05-30/09) and garden furniture complete the comfort and charm of the house. Furniture largely composed of antique furniture. A laundry room is located in a separate room next to the villa. On request and to be paid for on location: maid service, babysitting and cooking classes. Central heating. Air conditioning in the annex an in 3 bedrooms. Parking on the property. PLEASE NOTE: Arrivals must take place between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm. We had a wonderful week staying in Villa Serene in Cortona. The residence was exact,y as expected and we were blessed with beautiful weather. It's a short walk - up a steep hill - to the town centre which has everything you need for the stay. The house and pool worked wonderfully for our family of three teenage boys. We explored the region including cooking classes and bike rides fromthhouse. Highly recommended
