About this villa rental
Two bedroom, fully air-conditioned villa, with cool verandahs, a peaceful,secluded garden and a large private swimming pool. Villa Frank has a generously sized living room with a well equipped kitchen and dining area ( new in 2019) and two bathrooms (one ensuite) The villa is located in a peaceful location on the road to the hamlet of Arikbasi, amid pomegranate fields and enjoys stunning views of the nearby mountains. The town of Dalyan with its extensive range of shops, bars and restaurants, is exactly 1km from the villa and is a pleasant 15 minute walk along a paved road. However there are two local shops only five minutes walk away and the closest restaurants are about ten minutes walk away.

Had a fantastic 18 day stay here. The villa has everything you would need and is a real home from home. Plentiful crockery and kitchen equipment which was great as we like to cook. Also used the bbq 3 times. We have stayed in Arikbashi before and it suits us well as we like the 15 minute stroll into town.Great pool and grounds, well maintained The owners were very easy to contact and answered any queries I had quickly. We would love to stay here again.

A gem of a villa. In Turkish style but with all the mod cons. Rooms were clean and the en-suite to the master beautiful and spacious. Wi-fi good and air-con effective. Beautiful pool. Any issues dealt with promptly. We would book again.

A very traditional Turkish villa with amazing gardens and pool with great view of the mountains. This 2 bed good sized villa has a large well equipt kitchen and comfortable living space. Very clean. The owners were very friendly, attentive and on-hand if you needed them. We had a 20 min walk into town, but if you don't fancy it in the heat the taxi service was great and cheap. Only 4. Our first driver gave his card and we called him when we needed, if he was busy he arranged a pick up. Really good service and friendly.There is a supermarket only 10 minutes walk. 15 minutes to the nearest taverna but you are virtually in town by then.

The villa is very clean and well maintained, with a crystal-clear pool, comfortable beds, and a well-equipped kitchen. The host communicates excellently, providing a detailed info pack and helpful booklet, and was quick to respond to questions.However, there are some drawbacks. Daily power outages of up to two hours meant no air conditioning during a heatwave, no lights (torches needed for the loo), and unreliable appliances. One toilet seat was detached, the gas hob difficult to ignite, and the oven/microwave underpowered. Some basic supplies (hand soap, washing up liquid, detergent, oil, salt) were absent (the host relies on other guests topping up essentials), leaving us stuck on arrival, particularly with washing hands after using the loo.The location is challenging: the 12 minute walk to shops is sadly unbearable in the heat, and aggressive swarms of mosquitoes make being outside dreadful at any time, even during the daylight. The villa is overlooked by two neighbouring properties with noise from children, parties, and construction, plus constant animal sounds (dogs, chickens, goats) and the mosque call to prayer at 5am. Privacy was poor, with neighbours peeking over the pool wall to watch us.Overall, the villa itself is lovely and the host is helpful, but power outages, mosquitoes, noise, lack of privacy, and high local costs made it hard for us to truly relax.Great if you don’t mind mosquitoes or if budget isn’t a concern, but less so for others. Good host.
