The home was comfortable with a beautiful view. The property was private and very quiet. The kitchen was spacious and the amenities were great except there was not a corkscrew which would be nice to have since we purchased a bottle of wine and nothing to open it with. The house is very close to Langley which is a quaint little village with several restaurants, museums, and shops.
The tap water was very sulfurous, and not palatable for drinking. I called the property manager and was told that the well water was safe to drink and that many places on the island had this sulfurous water. That may be true, but it wasn't mentioned in the home details and it should have been. Drinking water should have been provided. We ended up buying gallon jugs of water for the 4 days we stayed.
I would have enjoyed using the deck space more if it had been swept of debris from the trees. Not a big deal but it wasn't very inviting with a winter's worth of needles and cones accumulated on the deck and chairs.
Also, the dvd player didn't work. We put in one of our own movies but it wouldn't play and it wouldn't open for us to get our movie out. :(
