Imperial of Lugano 2 with a lake view and garden behind the station and 10 min from the lake of Lugano

We really enjoyed our stay at this very nice apartment. The terrace is wonderful with a great view and comfortable places to sit. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. It is very spacious. Checking in and out was very easy and straightforward.

Although it’s very close to the train station, we had a hard time getting there as the only way we could find involved a lot of stairs. I was travelling with my 85 year old dad and climbing a lot of stairs with luggage was really difficult after a long day of travel. I wrote to the host and he let us know there is a bus we can take (which unfortunately we read after arriving at the apartment) which I didn’t think of exploring because it was only five minutes from the train. But I am writing this now to let others in the same boat know there is a bus you can take so you don’t have to do what we did! Otherwise everything was great.

Check in was super easy and the host was so sweet to accommodate our early check in request. They provided detailed instructions on how to locate the property, too. Even included photographs! It was located right by the train station which was very convenient. The beds were very comfortable, the shower pressure was outstanding, the outdoor table and seating was lovely. We loved the Nespresso machine, too! Clean, spacious and wonderful place - would highly recommend!
