Georges Bay Luxury

Quiet and comfortable, lovely and peaceful .

Difficult to obtain tv or wifi.

It is a lovely big house, very spacious, great as we had another couple with us, we each had our own space, the views are beautiful as well, great central location.

The beds, they are so uncomfortable, probably the worst we’ve had. The springs dig in to your back and we were all aching each morning. The ensuite shower has the shelves placed in the wrong spots it is so closed in and both my husband and myself kept hitting our arm on them. Considering this was the main use of the house for us was to go out exploring during the day and come back for a hot shower and a good nights sleep, this house was not for that!! Also no gas in either of the bottles out the back, no good for when we went to BBQ.

Great location, beautiful view, very peaceful and quiet.

The property itself in size and layout, and the views, are amazing. Very clean general areas and bathrooms. Access via the back path or side path for suitcases etc. Easy to access the keys via the lockbox. Lots of garage space but only accessible by pressing the button inside. Great location and close to all amenities in St Helens. Plenty of cutlery and dishes, plates etc in kitchen.

The beds were very uncomfortable. So much so that I ended up going out to the loungeroom sleeping on the very comfortable couches instead. The shower in the amazingly big bathroom was very tiny. The dryer lint filter and washing machine filters had not been cleaned for quite a while so I cleaned them. Only two air conditioners in the whole space only in the main living areas (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) and no fans in the bedrooms. There were no window coverings on the front large glass windows which meant no privacy from the neighbours at nighttime when lights were on. The door screen was quite old and falling apart leading out onto the balcony, letting flies in regularly if the glass door left open. The outside bin had not been emptied in quite some time and was full when we went to try and add our rubbish. We had to take our own rubbish bag into town to throw away and ended up putting the bin out on the roadside so that it will hopefully get emptied on the next rubbish day.
