The property was nicely decorated and very clean. The host was kind and friendly and sorted out maintenance within hours of being notified. The location was wonderful and we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the home.
While the house was nicely decorated, there was a strong smell of damp that overshadowed everything. The electrics did not feel very safe and the smoke alarm upstairs was balanced on the top of the light shade! Charging devices got very hot when plugged in and only half the plug sockets worked. Finally, the lack of internet (signal or WiFi) created difficulties on rainy days and meant that we could not download films or books to occupy children.
