We really liked this appartment in the beautiful area of Neuchatel.
We were welcomed by Raphael and his mother, very friendly people. The appartment is spacious and spotless clean. Modern with a few vintage oak closets, there even is a piano. Also, everything works which is quite a contrast to some places we stayed in other countries.
Great view of lake Neuchatel where you can see the mountains of Berner Oberland in the distance.
Other very positive points. You get a free Neuchatel card that includes a boattrip on the lake and one on lake Brenets and covers all public transport plus access to many attractions. Also we got a Parking card so that you can park you car for free. Be aware there is no parking at the appartment, but you can offload your luggage and park for free either 200 m on the hillside or 100 m downs steps, which is what we preferred. Busstop to the city is at the bottom of the steps.
Neuchatel and surroundings are wonderful, we did a few great hikes and the boattrip with the steamboat was fun.
Thanks to the free card we even used the train to get to our hiking places. Like the Gorges d'Areuse walk where we took the train to Noiraigue and then the tram back from Boudry after a fantastic 10 km hike through the gorge.
So, we'd say, if you have difficulty walking or use a weelchair this may not be for you.
But if you are reasonable fit this a perfect place to stay.

Fliegengitter nur im WC - zumindest die beiden Schlafzimmer wären schon super nachts mit Fliegengitter😉.
Keine Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern😢.
Ekektr. ausfahrbare Sonnenmarkise beim Mini-Balkönchen, aber leider nicht bei der südseitig gelegenen riesigen Veranda...konnte sie nur vormittags benützen ohne pralle Sonne.
