Overall it was a really good place to stay. It was very warm when we stayed and the apartment has large glass windows which are great for light and the views but unfortunately one of the 2 windows in the sitting / kitchen room was broken and could not be opened so the room was very hot as there are no blinds or curtains to keep the sun out.
The location was excellent for walking into the city

Six adults visited this property in June for four days and three nights. It was a mixture of special birthdays and anniversary celebrations. Ample space for us all, and more importantly our own individual bathrooms. The decor was lovely and very tasteful (felt like we were abroad with the multi cultural artifacts). We were all wowed by the views, and loved the location.
Our main purpose to visit York was to attend the races for two days. Great location just a short taxi ride away. Whether spoons near by and other lovely pubs and convenient shops.
Only one set of keys and fob - called customer services to ask for an extra key. Andrew was brilliant and personally dropped off a key for us (thank you). + Customer service before the visit was also excellent re checking in details etc.
We all loved the apartment and we would recommend it to others, and overall we would all visit again.
This is the second time we have used Stays York and again we were not disappointed and would definitely use again. Thank you.
Tips:
*The apartment was extremely hot, open windows immediately and take light lounge wear for the late afternoons / evening.
*Take your own toilet roll, we didn't have full rolls in the bathroom when we arrived and no spares. Thankfully there is a shop near by to stock up.
*No bin in one of the bathrooms or a bin in the bedroom, take a little bin bag with you. En suite bathrooms / bedrooms were fine.

This is our 3rd stay in Ryedale House (we’ve stayed in a different apartment each time) and we’ve had a great stay each time. I think the Minster View Penthouse has been our favourite apartment but we would book any of them again. The location is great plus having parking is a bonus. Unfortunately this time we had trouble checking in (we had been sent the wrong details) and it wasn’t handled by Stays York as best as it could be. It wouldn’t stop us going again though.

We had a fantastic stay at Ryedale House in York. The service from the Stays York team was exceptional, clear communication, timely and friendly.
The apartment was perfect in every way. I cannot say anything other than excellent, we are looking forward to going back.
