Gorgeous house! We have stayed at a lot of VRBOs and this was one of the best equipped ones! From cotton swabs to Ninja blenders, we had everything we needed! My mother-in-law joked how we need to go to Ikea because there were cute platters, dishes, and serving ware all from Ikea! And so many dishes and silverware that we could go a few meals without running out!
Bruce was super responsive and helpful. We got into some car trouble and he was flexible and accommodating as we needed a tad of extra time to get it fixed so we could depart.
It may seem obvious but being in the mountains makes grocery runs a little inconvenient. Just something to note for future renters.
Our favorite feature was the amazing theater room! We watched more movies than usual on this trip!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Modern Mountain Retreat. The house is simply beautiful - wonderfully laid out, well-appointed, spacious, and immaculate. It's in a quiet and peaceful location, surrounded by trees. We loved all of the amenities, which kept my extended family beautifully entertained - the pool table, movie theater, deck, and cornhole. And Bruce from Banjoe was a pleasure to work with - responsive and accommodating. We wish we could have stayed longer! I recommend this house without any reservation.
