Malaga center rooms

+ the location in a calm, residential area with closeness to the local market as well as the monastery- a quick pleasant walk down the city lets immerse into the old city center. + This adorable little house is build in a traditional andalusian style, with an inner courtyard in the middle + The room itself was very clean, as well as all of the common areas like bathroom and the kitchen- never lacking toilet paper, fresh bathroom rugs were put on the floor every day! + Kitchen is equipped and the cute inner courtyard provides with an amazing possibility of eating and sitting outside without leaving the calm object. +/- The walls between rooms are pretty thin, but during my stay every other tenant behaved very quiet, so that wasnt a problem. +Very convenient check- in, as I arrived late in the night. + Excellent contact with landlord, responding instantly and making the process very clear and quick.

- our room had a strong smell of cigarette fumes, although smoking is not allowed in the object. Throuhout the whole 5- day stay we couldnt get rid of it, opening the window for the whole day, so even though the room was very clean, the towels and the sheets smelled really fresh, this was something that really gave a bad impression. - our bed was very squeaky, with every move we could hear the metal construction under the mattrace moving

Overall a nice place, and in Málaga's standards relatively good value for money rate (it's a really expensive city though). The host was generally nice

Location is not very central (although not very far from the centre either, but a little uphill walk away). Room was not very spacious, but it's okay. There was only one bathroom and toilet for all guests. Auto check-in was a little overcomplicated for me, but eventually we got the codes, so everything was ok

Our flight home was cancelled at the last minute due to strike action, resulting in a desperate search for something affordable and available, not too far from the airport. The small room - little more than a double bed - was clean, as were the communal kitchen and bathroom areas. Registration at the property was a little laborious but resulted in a quick response from the owner regarding access and Wi-Fi. Overall, the property was adequate given the circumstances. Although key areas were communal, I didn't see anyone from the other rooms.

Couldn't get the TV to work. All areas were hot and stuffy, making sleep difficult and showering ineffective.
