Great location but arriving in any small Italian hilltown is difficult -- but the host made it as easy as possible. She makes everything pleasant and easy! My room was spacious, spotless and charming. Bed was very comfortable and my particular room (facing the garden) was totally peaceful.
Not a huge deal, but I wish the 10 a.m. checkout time would have been later. I felt I had to rush out when I would have enjoyed a more relaxed morning/departure. I didn't want to leave!

I liked the location, very much central in downtown Montalcino.
It wasn't very clear that the apartment has specific rooms (similar to hotel) with common areas/shared amenities like kitchen tables etc. We were only here one night but it wasn't a problem.
