About this house rental

Welcome to Geißberghaus, a charming holiday home steeped in history and nestled in Unterweid, a district of Kaltennordheim. Located in the heart of the Thuringian Rhön biosphere reserve, at the border triangle of Hesse, Bavaria, and Thuringia, it is an ideal retreat for families and groups of friends.

Nature lovers can explore romantic valleys, moorlands, and rare flora and fauna on scenic hikes or bike tours. Attractions nearby include the Rhönwald Adventure World (2 km), Fladungen Open-Air Museum (12 km), Rhön Star Park in Geisa (14 km), Wasserkuppe (15 km), Trusetal Dwarf Park (32 km), and the monastery ruins of Bad Hersfeld (38 km).

After a day of adventure, unwind by the pellet stove in the cozy living area or enjoy the fresh air in the peaceful natural garden with its inviting seating area. Geißberghaus is the perfect place to relax, reconnect with nature, and create unforgettable memories in a unique, historic setting.
