Welcome to Riverwood, a charming two-bedroom, one-bath home nestled in a serene West Linn neighborhood. Built in the 1930s by the current owner's family, this delightful retreat offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern amenities, making it the perfect getaway for relaxation and adventure.
Situated on the picturesque Tualatin River, Riverwood boasts its own private dock, providing direct access to the tranquil waters. Whether you're fishing, kayaking, or simply soaking up the peaceful ambiance, the river is yours to explore. Please note, while we offer a couple of water toys for your enjoyment, they are to be used at your own risk, so please be safe.
The property is surrounded by gorgeous trees, creating a secluded and tranquil environment where you can truly unwind. Enjoy the natural beauty from the comfort of the outdoor seating area, complete with a fire-table, sauna, and BBQ. Overlooking the river, this space is perfect for cozy evenings, al fresco dining, and rejuvenating sauna sessions.
Inside, the home retains its historic charm and comforts. The cozy living spaces invite you to relax and make yourself at home. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals, and the two comfortable bedrooms ensure a restful night's sleep.

We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.
Please do note, this home is almost 100 years old. There are quirks and imperfections at times. This home is meant to provide a laid back retreat with a truly spectacular outdoor space.
PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **

Good place to escape city noise and people. Be aware the 2nd bedroom is at the top of an open stairway and shares a downstairs bathroom. If you do bring dogs, there are 2 dogs next door that will bark aggressively, sometimes right at the fence, if they are outside. Otherwise, there is only the sound of the rushing river. You do need a car but that comes along with escaping the city. Management company is very responsive and helpful.

I was greeted by the owner/host! He had just finished installing heater on front porch. The whole house was tastefully decorated for Christmas! The property management personnel were very responsive to any issue that arose. The owner supplied welcome package which was very helpful to jump start my stay. House was well supplied with many amenities and appliances! I appreciated his moving the recycling and trash bins up the hill of his driveway! This was most pleasant and comfortable house in which to stay. Late spring, summer, and autumn provides many outdoor activities with which to enjoy the equipment provided by the owner. I would definitely stay here in the future!

We wished we could’ve stayed in this lovely vacation home longer! We could tell the owners but a lot of TLC to make it comfortable for their guests. What a warm and cozy retreat to stay in this time of year. We watched Christmas movies cuddled in warm blankets by the fireplace & woke up the next morning & had coffee with lovely views of the Tualatin River. There’s also a heater outside on the front porch to enjoy coffee or wine outside during the chilly winter months. The home is well stocked with all of the supplies you’ll need for your stay. My husband said the downstairs bedroom was the most comfortable bed he’s ever slept in! The bathroom has heated floors and the owners have supplied a charger for those who have electric cars. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back and enjoy again during the warm summer months!
