We were welcomed with a smile and shown right to our room despite our early arrival. The Guesthouse is very clean and has a large, inviting area to sit and visit with other guests. The kitchen is beautiful, large and has everything you could need. We will stay here again when we return to San Ignacio.

Located within a couple of minutes walk of everything you’ll need - shops, bars, tour operators etc. There is free use of the kitchen, which is handy as it’s three minutes to the local market. The manager was superb - super helpful, recommending some excellent restaurants and tours I hadn’t heard of. And to cap it all he gave me a lift to the border with Guatemala! Lovely bloke and a great laid back place to stay.

My stay at Don Santiago Guesthouse was an incredible experience from start to finish. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel at home right away. I was fortunate to receive an early check-in, which allowed me to settle in comfortably after my travels.
The guesthouse itself was charming, clean, and well-maintained, with cozy rooms and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The staff was exceptional friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. Their local recommendations made my trip even more enjoyable.
One of the highlights was the peaceful ambiance, perfect for relaxation after exploring the city. Plus, the late check-out option was a fantastic bonus, giving me extra time to unwind before departing.
Overall, Don Santiago Guesthouse exceeded my expectations with its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and welcoming environment. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and hassle-free stay!
