Lovely hotel in a good location. 10 minute walk from Kelvinbridge Subway station. Room was spotless, kettle, bottles of water, coffee maker with coffee pods and some ice biscuits. Breakfast was delicious buffet style with plenty of choice.

The hotel itself is very nice, clean and has good looking rooms. Staff was very nice and helpful, too. I read some reviews about breakfast being not good but personally we enjoyed it. There is no cooked food but all the items were in the breakfast good quality and more than enough. I would definitely recommend staying there.

We stayed here recently for a few nights. We arrived at about 2:30 but were briskly told that we couldn't check in 'till 3, Which is fine but it was a bit unfriendly. We had a very small room near reception. Very small. Literally no room for cupboards and drawers. There was a hanging thing in there for shirts etc. We found it near impossible to get the shower to the correct temperature. A nano movement either way on the controls made it boiling or freezing! The sink has a waterfall type spout and, if you run it at full open the water flys out of the sink and goes everywhere. There is a nice little coffee machine and, for some reason, a record player! The table with the kettle is so tiny that making a tea is very fiddly. And it's a real shame but the tea bags are the cheapest I have ever come across. Almost devoid of tea! The bed was comfy and the curtains were good and dark and the telly was able to connect to Netflix and whatever. But the bathroom has a GLASS DOOR so everything is on display to someone lying on the bed! It's a very bad choice. We went out that night and the next day our room hadn't been sorted and there was no new coffee, clean mugs etc. I asked what had happened and the man said that we hadn't put the notice on the door! What notice, no one had told us! Apparently you have to hang a sign on your door saying that you want your room to be cleaned. Literally the opposite of every hotel I have ever stayed in before. And we weren't told this. Breakfast was a bit thin. One croissant available when we arrived. The orange juice sat empty the whole time. There were no mugs. The coffee was the cheapest instant Nescafe. But the fruit salad wasn't bad. When we checked out we were asked how our stay was. I mentioned the room not being turned over and a couple of other things but I don't think it was appreciated. I hate ;leaving bad reviews and maybe we were just unlucky as it's a nice building in a good spot. Just needs to up their game...
