Walk to the beach and enjoy striking views of the Amalfi Coast and Li Galli islands from this villa with private pool close to Positano
Villa Vanessa is a 3-bedroom villa positioned in the hills above the Amalfi coastline, with panoramic vistas over the sea and the Li Galli islands.
Crowd-pulling Positano is 3 km away, and the picture-perfect towns of Praiano, Amalfi and Ravello just a little further along the coast.
If you’re planning to spend most days on the beach, you’ll find plenty of options in Positano. However, for a more away-from-it-all experience, you can get to Tordigliano beach via a rugged and quite challenging footpath that leads down from the main road around 400 m from the villa (20-minute walk).
Round off your day back at the villa, marvelling at the view from the small circular pool (14 m circumference) set at the end of the terrace. The 50-m² terrace is the perfect place to bookend the day with leisurely breakfasts overlooking the ocean and al fresco dinners as the sun sets.
A veranda, located just off the terrace, leads directly into the single-storey villa (95 m²) where communal spaces include a living room with two sofas, a TV and coffee table, and a kitchen with a dining table for six.

• Although a car is not essential, it is recommended in peak season when tourist numbers put pressure on the local bus system.
• Garage parking for one car. There’s a 300 m incline (not recommended for elderly people or with mobility issues) from the garage to the front door but the property owners, who reside on the premises, are happy to help with luggage.
• Positano is at its most beautiful between April-June and September-October, when there are fewer tourists, but days are still warm and sunny.
• Take advantage of the multiple boat excursions from Positano, along the Amalfi Coast and to Capri.
• The villa is not suitable for elderly or people with mobility difficulties.
• The owner lives on site and he will be at your disposal for any request.

Amazing and beautiful property! Extremely private and gorgeous views. It is a bit of a challenge to get into the cities without a car, but we were able to call taxis regularly. The host was very helpful with suggestions and tips for the area.

Stayed as a family of four (kids 14 & 12), We had a great stay. Lovely place, great pool for cooling off (pool slightly overlooked by pool of apartment above, but not an issue at all for us). We self catered several nights the kitchen had everything we needed and was spotless. Beds were comfortable and en-suite bathrooms good, although pressure from shower can vary and was often just luke warm, which to be honest was perfect with the temperatures that we had during our stay. You will need a car to get to SorrentoPositano. Taxis are crazy expensive. And the walk from the garage up to the apartment is steep so you do need to be fairly mobile. We tried to walk to the beach one day, it was fine going down but very hard work coming back up. So settled for lying by our pool for the rest of the time. We managed to fit in a trip to Pompeii and Rome (with an overnight stay). Anna and Luigi were great hosts, very responsive and incredibly helpful. We would definitely recommend.

My friends and I loved this spot. The owners are extremely kind and helpful! The view is STUNNING! It is quite a bit further from the main spots than we expected. The beach that’s nearby is a treacherous hike and not really a beach - more just an access point to water.
