Charming room in a vibrant neighborhood. While it may not have every amenity you’d find at a large hotel, it has everything you need. One of our favorite stays in all of our travels.

This hotel is a real gem tucked into the bohemian heart of Santa Teresa. It has that artsy, lived-in charm that makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere with real character rather than just another generic city hotel. The staff were genuinely lovely — they always made sure I had everything I needed and went out of their way to be helpful and warm.
The rooms didn’t get much natural light, but they were cozy and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day out exploring. The showers were incredible — seriously, the hottest and most powerful ones I had on my six-week trip.
There are mosquitoes around, so check that your room has a repellent plug-in or bring one with you just in case.
Breakfast is available if you so choose and the one I had was amazing — generous portions and really tasty.
The location worked out better than I expected. Whilst it’s not right by the metro, buses come up the hill regularly, and you’re only a couple of minutes’ walk from the small central hub of Santa Teresa, where there are cafes and shops. It’s also a quick 10–15 minute walk downhill to the Gloria metro station if you want to head further into the city.
All in all, a creative, welcoming spot that gives you an authentic taste of Santa Teresa life.
