About this house rental
A wonderfully located seaside holiday home with private garden and courtyard terrace overlooking the sand dunes at Merlimont beach.
The house is fully independent and has driveway parking. The accommodation is on two floors. The ground floor has a large open plan lounge / dining room which opens directly on to the garden and courtyard. There is a new fully fitted kitchen, shower room and separate WC. The first floor has three bedrooms, one double one twin and one bunk bedroom. There is a bathroom with a bath / shower and another separate WC.
The courtyard borders the sand dunes and has the most amazing views to enjoy whilst eating or relaxing outside. There is also a large lawn garden perfect for games and soaking up the sea air. There is a garage available for storage and private on site parking is available for two cars. The house is at the end of a quiet cul de sac and sits right next to the sand dunes. The vast sandy beach and the town centre are just a short walk away.

Our second year here. Superb location right on the sand dunes only 10 mins walk to Merlimont Plage beach. Perfect holiday with our Dog. From Merlimont (which is very quiet and not a lot going on) it is a 90 min walk on the sand to either Le Touquet or Berck sur Mer. Also the property manager, Michael was very attentive. He responded straight away when we had difficulty finding the UK TV channels and came out and reset the satellite for the TV.

The location of the house was quite lovely: at the end of a quiet road, right next to the dunes and the gorgeous beach within very easy reach (as well as restaurants, bakery etc).
The house itself could do with a bit of TLC. Nothing insurmountable, but we felt the price-quality ratio was a bit off.
The agent was always quick te respond and helpful.

Les photos présentées sont plutôt avantageuses par rapport à la réalité, tant sur la taille des pièces que sur l’état général de la maison.
La maison est globalement propre, mais il y a beaucoup d’équipements hors d’usage, cassés ou très fatigués (sangles de volets, volets coincés, lavabo fendu, porte de douche sortie de son rail).
Un problème d’écoulement d’eau et de mauvaises odeurs ont également gâché la fin de notre séjour.
Ce manque d’entretien est dommage, car la maison est idéalement située, au calme et le spectacle des dunes est magique.
