Excellent hotel quality room fantastic location very quiet ask the room to be cool and it was on a hot summers day. Breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was very good however we felt it should’ve been included in the price of the room other than that can’t fault it. Would highly recommend

I booked and prepaid my room well in advance. To my great horror, I arrived at the hotel only to be told that not only have they no reservation on my name whatsoever but in fact they have never even done business with Agoda. at all. The night receptionist and the manager she contacted stuck to this story even though I presented both my booking AND payment confirmation and demonstrated that the hotel is still very much available on the website of Agoda. To add insult to injury, said receptionist treated me in such nonchalant , condescending, patronising and unprofessional manner that our interaction left an extremely bitter taste in my mouth. Next day they changed their story to yes, they did do business with Agoda in the past but they certainly have nothing to do with them any more and therefore I must have been scammed. They advised me to dispute my prepayment and promised to work out a somewhat discounted rate that was still disproportionately higher than what I paid through Agoda. Naturally that I found totally unacceptable. In the afternoon the manager on duty finally offered his apologies and told me they were willing to honour the rate I booked my room at and offered me a dinner on the house. I do admit that in the end I was treated in a manner that befits a four star hotel of such high pretensions but by then what was supposed to be my day off to relax already started off as a mortifying experience that left me speechless and ruined most of my day as I was kept in a limbo for quite some time and slept very little on the first night to begin with thanks to the sheer terror this experience invoked. We finally arrived at a pleasant conclusion at the end of the day, but what transpired in between makes it impossible to award this hotel a full five star rating, even though without this drama, that was totally uncalled for, it sure would deserve it.

Amazing hotel. Amazingly helpful and friendly staff, amazing large room, beautifully decorated. Cleanliness 10/10. Ideal location. Definitely booking again.
