Lovely stay here, owner very friendly, little mishap with a staff member thinking my husband was with a drunk group of lads! Room beautiful, little toiletries & coffee supplies a lovely gesture. Shower pressure amazing! Bed like a dream, and room/Bathroom super clean. Little noisy in morning but no fault of the pub! Would 100% return

Only pizza food option. Room clean and spacious. Bed very springy hear next door having a good time for ages. But great pit stop dont go with kids.

The room 6 we booked had a good comfortable bed but therr was a headboard missing as dicovered by 4 screw holes in the wall behind the bed. There was no wardrobe and the shelf was coming away from the wall. There was a unit of drawers and a kettle which did not fit under the tap in the sink in the bathroom. There were many tea bags etc and sachets of hot chocolafe which were enjoyed. This particular room was at the side of the road anx was quite noisy all through the night with fast motorbikes and heavy loud lorries. The toilet cistern lid raised up every time it was flushed and was therefore noisy in the quiet of the night and my husband woke up! There needed to be somewhere to hang wet towels and jackets...no hooks on the backs of doors. The plugs and floor in the bathroom were not clean or the window sill. The window would not open and close properly. The room was approached by steep metal steps like a fire escape and the outside door to this section of the pub was tied open and kept open meaning the corridor was cold of an evening and the room was therefore cold. We could ask for 2 bottles of water for the room at the bar but these were only sparkling water the first night as they had run out. The car park is dreadfully small and we would have been hemmed in if we had parked there so had to park on the street overnight but then had to move the car a distance away to the long stay car park by 8.30 am. !! This was not liked especially by my husband.! The room was not refreshed the 2nd day we stayed as is usual in other places we have stayed. The pub does not serve breakfast and we had to go elsewhere in the town for that. We will not be using The Kings Arms again.
