We booked the Fox and Goose for a weekend break, as a base for a visit to Bristol and the surrounding area. The location is great for touring the area; and it seems popular for transit stop-overs for Bristol airport.
We were greeted, on arrival, by the very amiable host, Amy, who instantly made us feel welcome and at home. She is a tremendous asset to the business. She makes the difference between a stay and a memorable stay.
The room was clean and comfortable. The mattress was medium-firm, which suited us fine. Didn't wake up with any aches, as you do sometimes with dodgy mattresses.
Breakfast was good - pre-booking is required, so you make your choice the night before. The full-English is a reasonable size. We are not big eaters, and the breakfast was adequately filling without leaving you feel bloated.
We stayed over Thurs/Fri/Sat night, and the pub always seemed reasonably full, so you may want to pre-book a table if you intend to eat there - food is traditional pub grub - no complaints there, and reasonably priced.
WIFI is free, and was great in the room where we stayed. I wouldn't think you would have any trouble streaming movies on your mobile/laptop - The TV wasn't smart, so no chance of logging into your Netflix account directly on the TV.
A nice little touch at the bedside - USB sockets integrated into the plug sockets. We have the same at home. Not sure why it has taken so long for hoteliers to adopt these, but a nice convenience, and a pleasant surprise.
We would happily recommend this place to friends and family visiting the Bristol area.

Only negative is the bathroom in our room 11 needs love.
