We stayed at Farmhouse motel again during our Paso Robles trip. We were a little sad that the breakfast spread is gone but coffee with whole/oat milk are available at the lobby to start our day. Walking to downtown Paso Robles is a quick 10 minute walk. Location is convenient and we enjoyed the firepit each night that we stayed.

In a town where all of the hotels are extremely expensive, this was a gem because it was a little less expensive but still very nice and comfortable, and the location is fantastic. It's not right on the main square like some others but it is walking distance to town which is really awesome. We were able to leave the car at the hotel and walk to eat shop and drink without worry of driving after wine tasting or going to a bar.
There are 2 good breakfast spots within a block or 2 of the hotel as well. One is called Twisted and Glazed, the other is called Red Scooter Cafe. We could walk our dog over and hang out and eat breakfast.
The hotel is very dog friendly as well. My dog was happy and comfortable there as well. I brought her crate and her bed. We left her in a crate in the room when we didn't have her with us. But it's a very dog friendly town so she was mostly with us 75% of the time. There was a one time $50 pet fee at check in. Still cheaper than a dog-sitter! :)
