Our first visit to Belgrade, and stayed at the waterfront area on recommendation from a local friend. The entire waterfront is a very new area overlooking the Sava river and it is an under construction area with plenty of projects going on simultaneously. The property we stayed in tho is very nice. We had an excellent view overlooking the river tho to be fair a few construction works inbetween is a damper. The apmt was roomy, single bedroom,with locked door, living room, kitchenette and bathroom. All necessary amenities and comforts were made available with generous portions of towels and sheets. Everything was clean and well maintained. On the 16th floor so view was good. A couple of very decent restaurants, pharmas, cafes in walking distance and of course the big huge Galerija mall is literally across the road. Regarding public transport we did not take any, since we drove, but the building provides very good and reliable fixed parking spaces so that was very conveninet and included in the room price. Even the elevators where 2 or 3 were working, they were spacious enough for 10 persons. On the negative side, very little except the elevators were all not working so busy times you need to wait a bit, entry into the appropriate building (there are 2) from the car park is a bit tricky for the uninitiated and we walked up the wrong building into the wrong apmt (since both buildings have same apmt nos. Great place to stay in the waterfront development. We were given an early check in and a later checkout at no extra cost. The apartment was perfect. Slight downside is no left luggage available
