I have never in my life been compelled to write a review such as this. From the moment we entered, things were bad. Firstly, the 24 hour reception they speak of is not even 1 hour reception. I have never seen anyone sitting at that front desk. When we arrived, we rang the doorbell and texted and called and waited and we were standing outside for a good 5-10 minutes before someone finally came to let us in.
Then we came to our room to find hairs and bugs in our bed. Like long hairs with lint in it (not pictured because I threw it out immediately). I was willing to let that clump of hair go because hey maybe things happen. AND THEN we kept finding more. AND THEN we found bugs. AND THEN they really brought it home by having ripped and stained bedsheets. The worst part is that no one responded to us about this. It wasn’t until the next day at 9:20am that someone responded. And the response was just that they can’t come into our room unless we’re there. We already left for the day!!!
The body wash dispenser is also not working so we can’t have body wash. There is no shampoo and no one came to refill it. The staff is shockingly irresponsive. I feel like some crazy dude in a girls DMs when I’m trying to find a solution. Just talking to myself. Also what do you mean there is only one singular towel per guest. Some of us have hair.
I’ve stayed in some pretty dingy establishments in the name of saving money. And this place is somehow worse. At least at the grossest hostel you can think of, there’s at least a person. I am pleading with whoever is reading this to spare yourself. If you haven’t booked this place, you are already a luckier person than I. Keep it that way.
