The Palazzo Murano is a jewel in the shoreline part of Vico Equense. Situated opposite Vico Mare (the main pier), and nestled in the nook of the mountain, the rooms are fabulous; pretty, modern, clean, and comfortable. The linens were clean, and the towels were fluffy and clean.
Compared to bigger cities, the lower part of Vico Equense is quiet with just the right mixture of nearby restaurants, pizza shops, gelato shops, and convenient transportation.
The hotelier, Alphonse, is a marvelous host, providing transportation for us each of three days, with several drivers, at less than Uber rates. All the staff were friendly and welcoming.
My wife and I highly recommend Palazzo Murrano, and Alphonse!

The room was extremely clean and the management were so helpful in organising public transport. We paid the maid to take us to the train station because we couldn’t get a taxi. They organised this. There was a good range of food for breakfast and we could see the seas and Vesuvius from our bedroom window. You have to walk up a hill to get to the train station and then you can get to Naples, Sorrento and Pompeii
