This hotel is amazing. They truly treated me with kindness and decency on a day when I was struggling. I would recommend this hotel. They allowed me to check out late and did not complain when I spent the entire day in the lobby packing and repacking and searching for my wallet while taking phone calls to arrange my journey back to the USA. In fact, multiple times I was offered fresh hot tea, snacks and a kind ear from both the reception employees and also the owner of the hotel himself. I would highly recommend this - even though it's not the newest or most modern or state-of-the-art facilities, the heart of this hotel shines through and you know that you will be well cared for here.

Overall stay was ok. But shower is a little awkward to get in and the shower floor feels likes you can slip and fall anytime (no grooves, just smooth floor).

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of many of London’s major tourist attractions, and the area feels quite safe. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and complimentary refreshments are available both in the room and at reception. During our stay, a ceiling fan was especially helpful in coping with the heatwave, though it’s worth noting that the hotel does not have air conditioning in the room (AC may be on in the main hall during the day). There are two elevators available. That said, the room is relatively small and situated next to a main road and a residential building, so nighttime noise can be noticeable. Overall, this hotel is a great base for exploring London, especially if location and friendly service are your priorities.
