Cleanliness & Comfort:
The bed made me feel itchy, and the daybed near the pool had bugs or ants that bit me, causing itchiness and swelling on my back. The toilet bidet also had a strong, unpleasant egg-like smell.
Bathtub & Bathroom Design:
One of the biggest letdowns was the bathtub. The water heater couldn’t supply enough hot water, so we weren’t able to enjoy a proper soak. Additionally, there was no shower head near the bathtub to rinse off. If you want to shower, you have to step out (wet and possibly cold) and walk to the separate shower area. The layout felt inconvenient and not very user-friendly.
Navigation & Location Access:
Although the villa is centrally located, it sits deep inside a very narrow alley that’s difficult for cars to access. Drivers often struggled to enter or turn around. At night, there were loud animal noises (possibly frogs or other wildlife), which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep.
Another issue was the villa’s address on Google Maps ,it wasn’t clearly marked, and there were other similar addresses nearby. This made it confusing when trying to book a Grab or Gojek, as I wasn’t sure which location to select.
Overall, the villa has great potential and a beautiful aesthetic, but the practical experience needs improvement. With better cleanliness, clearer directions, and some basic upgrades to the bathroom and bedding, it could offer a much more comfortable stay.
