Near King's cross station - FiveGuys and BlankStreet were around the corner. Can also get your food at the station nearby. No elevator inside the building because it is an old building. But staff (younger one) was friendly, he helped us bring our luggages up. There was this older staff the next morning was not friendly, was reluctant in his reply.

I prebooked a room at this hotel with a discount for one night. The room they provided was at the basement where it was murky and smelled heavy with chlorine. The room would vibrate with the metro every few minutes. You could feel the springs in the mattress press into you. The room was not clean, rags had dirt on them. The toilet was at the underway of the stairs where the ceiling was very low, the shower head was rusty and mold was in it. Mold was in the cabinet which was damaged heavily by water leaks. The towel holder was loose and rusty. The three things I appreciate for staying in this hotel is that you could keep your items for storage after checking out for free in case your train is in the evening, the fridge is actually really cold for your drinks, and that it is one streetlight away from the train station. Though, for what it cost, I would rather pay the difference for a better stay in one of the mainstream hotels than come back again.
