Had a complimentary upgrade as it was our wedding anniversary, lovely dessert awaiting us in the room too. Spotless clean, fabulous shower and air conditioning too. Will return!

This stay left us with mixed feelings. While there were notable positive aspects, some disappointing elements marred the overall experience.
On the positive side, the hotel's location was undeniably excellent, situated next to Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The entrance was impressive, creating a positive first impression. Team members were friendly and welcoming which resulted in a great first impression.
However, the experience took a downturn when we were informed of a £100 security deposit per room upon arrival, catching us off guard. Upon entering the room, the initial impressions were overshadowed by a sign in the bathroom warning of a £15 charge for any removed bottles. The bath towels had noticeable holes, and mould marred several tiles, detracting from the overall cleanliness.
Despite these setbacks, the room facilities were generally satisfactory, featuring a comfortable bed and useful amenities. The disappointment peaked on New Year's Day when we discovered the hotel closed at 12:00, resulting in unavailable luggage facilities and a rushed check-out experience. Surprisingly, housekeeping knocked on our door at 09:30, well before the 11:00 checkout time, reflecting a rush to clean rooms and conclude their duties early, an unexpected inconvenience.
Moreover, the television channels, including BBC 1, 2, and ITV, did not work correctly, adding a frustrating note to our stay. The attempt to offer amenities at London prices fell short, with the overall experience lacking a wow factor. Comparing our stay to a previous one the night before at Premier Inn Blackpool North, the differences seemed minimal, with only the décor standing out.
A final disappointment was the pricing of beverages, particularly the steep charge of £18 for two Gin and Tonics. This pricing, coupled with other inconveniences, left us questioning the overall value for money.
In conclusion, while the hotel's location and initial impressions were positive, various shortcomings, including an early closure on New Year's Day, and overpriced amenities, left me with a mixed opinion of this establishment. Improvements in these areas would undoubtedly enhance the overall guest experience.
