The hotel is nice and conveniently placed near the Texas tech campus. However you’re asked to leave a $100 deposit. We did and didn’t receive all of our deposit back. When I called the hotel to ask them. Virginia the manager states that we had 3 people eat breakfast so we were charged and for an extra guest. Entirely not true. We didn’t eat breakfast there the 2 days we were there and we were moving my daughter out of her dorm and we stored some of her bags in our room. So because they “investigated” they saw 3 people on the camera they kept posting our deposit. So if you’re ok with them keeping your deposit take a chance staying here. Oh and their housekeepers when we did pass them in the hallways they were not friendly at all. When we left there were 3 housekeepers sitting the lobby waiting and when I dropped my keys off in the bowl that was left on the counter. One lady got up gave me an ugly look and took the key that I had left out to the bowl and walked away. No one to greet and check us out then maybe I would have been told that they weren’t going to be giving me back the whole amount.
