    If your not looking for anything fancy, and just want a good view near the beaching in the perfect location this is the place, It needs a little updating but this is probably the reason it’s not so expensive. We hung out at the beach and had a blast riding bikes on the bike path from Venice to Santa Monica and many near by restaurants.

    The location of the hotel is spectacular. It’s a 5 min walk to the weirdness of Venice Beach but also in a mostly quiet and cute area with small houses. Walking the other way 3 min you get to a strand of nice restaurants and beach bars. The room was nice, not so small like some hotel rooms I have stayed. There was a large fridge, nice bathroom with large shower. Some slight downsides- The wifi was spotty at best. The walls of the hotel are quite thin so you can hear the other guests. Apart from that I would recommend it. And I would stay there again!

    I was disappointed with this stay, I did not expect for the room to be so cold and heater wasn’t working at all. It was an old building so they don’t have a centralized aircon/heater. I was hoping for an ocean view but the room wasn’t available. It was my friends first time visiting Southern California and she was already discouraged with her first experience. I need my money back, it wasn’t worth the pay.
