The place was clean, had a small kitchenette and a small but contemporary bathroom.
Cannes is among the world's most popular summer destinations and I was trying to be reasonable with my budget. I was pleasantly surprised.
The location is fantastic and while the inner courtyard view isn't very exciting it does mean the apartment is quiet.
The building itself is a little dark so be sure to find the timer lights in the halls.
There was a faint smell of smoke which I know is common in apartment rentals in Europe. It wouldn't stop me rebooking this apartment.
