Close to water and walking to town
The steep uneven walkway to front door. Stairs were blocked off.

Loved the view and that we actually got to see whales! This home met all of my family’s needs which is not east to do with a family of 5. My husband was happy with the TV set up, my 9 year old son played foosball everyday, my 2 year old enjoyed the rocking chair and front yard, while me and the baby slept wonderfully in the king bed. The home was clean, well stocked, and the staff were not only responsive but friendly, which made all the difference in our booking experience. We are already planning our trip back!
There are a few downsides to this home for our family. The street parking and no vehicle driveway access. This made it difficult to unload all the stuff that a family of 5 travels with and a bit of a safety hazard with a toddler and baby. A few possible solutions that would help our family feel safer and more comfortable next visit would be to fix the access to the stairs, and adding a screen door to the front door. Our toddler ran out after his dad while unloading the car and was able to make it to the street pretty fast which was kind of scary. There is no dishwasher, which wasn’t a dealbreaker for us but nobody really wants to wash dishes by hand on vacation. What would have made it a bit easier would be a proper dish drying rack.
