The town was beautiful, typically Italian, with narrow streets and friendly people, as if time had stopped there. There were also hardly any mosquitoes. The sea and beaches were just a 15-minute drive away. Communication with the owner was smooth as well – she gave us advice and was available whenever needed. Someone had mentioned that it was too hot without air conditioning, but the fans were more than enough for us.
The road to the town was very narrow, in some places only wide enough for one car, and I think arriving later in the evening meant not being able to park in the local parking lot, which is about 200 meters from the house. Fortunately, we always managed to find a spot 😁.

Ortonovo è un fantastico paesino in collina, per gli amanti del relax credo sia il posto ideale.
Dalla finestra della camera da letto c'è un panorama bellissimo sulla valle, si vedono i paesi vicini ed all'orizzonte il mare, svegliarsi la mattina con questa vista vale già da solo il prezzo della struttura.
Abbiamo dormito bene, al fresco e con il massimo silenzio durante la notte.
Se proprio si vuole trovare un difetto, potrebbe essere la strada un po' stretta e tortuosa nell'ultimo tratto per arrivare al paese ma d'altra parte è anche un po' la caratteristica della maggior parte dei luoghi di collina.
