The price, cleanliness, and especially the staff. Thawat and his staff take a personal concern that guests are enjoying their stay at the Villa as well as seeing and enjoying Koh Lanta and the region.
Example: An excursion was cancelled at the last minute. Thawat got on the phone and very shortly got the same excursion at a lower price!
The location at first seems less than optimum. Walking distance to the Andaman Sea beaches. Villa is slightly north of midway on Koh Lanta. However it turns out these are benefits. I ventured out to discover I preferred the beaches north and south. And I could not justify the much higher prices at some places typically considered great locations, when I was going all over the island as well as out on day trips. A centralized Villa was the best location.

Highly recommend Thawat Villa Boutique Resort. The rooms were very clean, warm showers, comfy bed, and fully air conditioned as well. The pool was also very clean and well looked after. The staff were so kind and helpful, especially with helping us book our onward travel to Langkawi. Thank you for having us đ

Highly recommended, clean room with air-con, fridge and hot shower. The pool is also lovely and really good place to relax. Staff were amazing so helpful and welcoming really nice environment. I really enjoyed my stay!!! Thank you very much. 10/10

Personeel is super behulpzaam, geen vraag is te gek. De kamer is erg ruim en goedwerkende airco.
Het onderhouden van het algehele terrein vraagt wat aandacht. Het zwembad ruikt niet fris, vervallen bedje, dode kakkerlakken op de toilet bij het zwembad. De kamer zelf was prima, maar de open badkamer zorgt ervoor dat dieren het hier ook gezellig vinden, zoals een varaan en een rat.
