The house is about as close to the airport as you can find, but no jet noise. It’s very convenient if you have family flying in to SA. The beds are very comfortable and the neighborhood seemed mostly well maintained and quiet. Only minor critiques. Slow wifi, living room seating is not very comfortable and the interior doors are sticky and hard to close.

The house was open and neatly decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything, which was a nice surprise. There were a couple of things though: 1st we paid 160 for a cleaning fee and I would assume that's what they charge everyone...they need to hire a new cleaning company. There was still toothpaste splatter on the faucet in the bedroom bathroom and the kitchen counters needed to be cleaned again they were sticky and clearly dirty. They also didn't empty the dishwasher.There was an issue with the internet in the bedroom where I was finally able to logon at one point, so I left the TV on, when we got back the TV was off and I never could get the internet to work again.I tried to call the "host" Ryan on the number provided at the house AND sent an email. Never received a response to either, so I never did get that TV to work.The landscaping needs a LOT of TLC, but overall it was a nice property.I had problems with the

Very clean and convenient. It is a short drive to downtown but in a quiet neighborhood. Also close to multiple shopping centers and restaurants.

Host or the property manager was late to respond or wasn't responsive to inquiries and concerns at all. It seems like the host was connected through a third party, Evolve and not necessarily VRBO which was odd. I've never experienced this until now. We should have been able to check-in by 4 PM but it wasn't ready by the time we arrived around 9:00 PM. We weren't able to enter the house with the key provided. The doorknob appeared to be jammed as it wouldn't turn even though we can hear the bolt unlocking when the key is turned. Made attempts to connect to the host via VRBO message and mobile call but there's no response or voicemail was received. Had to go through Evolve. Children traveled with us which made it concerning because it was very late and dark out by then. Eventually Evolve got a hold of the host and we met with them at around 10:30 PM. They had to go through the garage to release the doorknob for entry into the home. The living room and kitchen ceiling has a crack going across but they told us it's normal for homes to look like that in San Antonio because the land shifts. We felt uneasy about that but since it was too late and we all were extremely tired from a long drive, we let it "slide". The home is nice otherwise so we stuck through. The neighborhood isn't the best appearance but it is quiet and it felt safe for the most part. Would I book here again? Maybe not.
