About this house rental
Relax in this mountain home near the beautiful woods of Pollock Pines. You are surrounded by Ponderosa Pine trees and a creek in the rear of the property. Sly Park home of Lake Jenkinson less than 3 miles away and about 45-50 min from South Lake Tahoe. Other things worth noting we are minutes away from Apple Hill Farms, downtown Placerville which has restaurants and a brewery. Safeway and CVS are just up the road for any last min. needs.

We just stayed here and it was nice. The floor plan worked just okay for our group of 9. When you walk in you enter into the family room that has a TV but no heat. They had a space heater, but only one so we used it there to hang out as a group and watch TV, but when it was time for bed we had to move it to the basement area where the bunk bed room is because that room has no heat and was freezing. The primary bedroom has great heat but it’s in the basement next to the bunk bed room, they are separated by pocket doors.
Upstairs are two queen bedrooms with carpet which helped to keep it warm. One room has a heater the I Th er does not, but it has a floor heater that worked okay.
Overall the place was cute, kitchen had a large pot for us to make chili, another pot for pasta for the kids and a few other pans.

This place was perfect for a quick getaway. Very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the grill and high-top table outside. The master bedroom with a fireplace was a hit. Close to Sacramento, yet it feels a million miles away being in the midst of pine trees and mountains.
