This is a delightfully quirky property where the hosts have thought of everything. It was functional, comfortable and charming. Before arrival I asked if there was a freezer compartment in the fridge as one of my teenagers struggles to regulate his temperature and not only did I get prompt confirmation but there was an ice cube tray left out ready for me to fill and freeze. The set up was home from home for my husband and I along with 3 teenage boys. Kitchen facilities meant i cooked a couple of night's and we had plenty of room in the fridge and shelves. Beds were comfortable and a king size in the master bedroom was welcome.Being so close to the church we enjoyed the bells and even listened to the congregation singing on sunday.The only slight stress was parking. We had been advised it wasnt always posssible to park outside the house and this proved true although as visitors left each evening we were easily able to move the car outside from a 3 minute walk away. Not a big deal.Thanks Benoit! We will certainly look to stay here again should we travel to Normandy in future.

This charming home was perfect for our family of four adults as we explored the region. Walking through the little village of Arromanches was like stepping back in history. The village offered a great selection of restaurants for us, we loved walking to the bakery every morning for fresh croissants, and the beach with all its history…all within walking distance. The house had everything we needed and we loved the decor. Communication easy and a joy. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed a comfortable stay in a nice house, clean and tasteful. Very near to the coast (short walk to swim every day), fresh French bread every morning in the village. Historical highlights nearby with the car
