The location is amazing, the house is beautiful, the appartment was spacious, with nice furniture

The bed

Wonderful location near to the Verona Arena, Castel Vecchio and other sites worth visiting. Excellent restaurants in the vicinity, together with a supermarket. The hosts were extremely helpful providing suggestions of local restaurants and how to book taxis.

Location is the standout advantage of this rental. The space is also enormous

Can’t really put a finger on it but the property didn’t “do it” for us. I think we were probably in a much better than average property in Como (also a historical building) just before this stay. The following may seem as “privileged” shortcomings but our experiences at Como and Padua were better (and cheaper). The stairs were badly lit, the “snacks” provided amounted to one individual packet of bread something or other, no complimentary milk or waters and no tourist info. The place was rather gloomy as there are building repairs (scaffolding) taking place (advised after we booked but no work or privacy impinged in our two nights). The whole stay was ok (we loved Verona) but couldn’t recommend this property

The property is centrally located, quiet, clean and comfortable.

The stairway to the apartment are steep and narrow without a continuous support rail. This may not or appropriate for some people. The heating system struggles and I doubt it can cope with January and February.
