Castle View Cottage - Entire Home

Recently renovated cosy and perfectly kept with everything you could think of regarding essentials including everything you need for breakfast provided

Nothing! Everything was perfect!

Firstly, Maura is an excellent host. She went out of her way just to thank me for doing something so simple as booking my arrival time. She kept me fully informed on the accommodation and gave detailed instructions on the key location and the property itself. She made sure the property was nice and warm for when we arrived which included turning on the electric blankets on the beds. Secondly, the cottage was fully stocked with all essentials including freshly squeezed orange juice, jam, butter, some fruit, coffee pods for the machine, and many, many more. There was even freshly home-made sour bread (my family who are local to Annascaul told me that's what it was) in the kitchen. I personally have never tried it before. It tasted amazing. The views from the cottage are breathtaking. We loved the view so much my family and I sat at the table just looking out of the window for most of the time we were at the cottage. We travelled 17hrs from England for my great uncle's funeral and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better place to settle in quickly and get cosy so we can emotionally prepare ourselves for the next day. If it wasn't for the unfortunate circumstances of our stay we would have stayed a lot longer. In summary, I can't recommend this place enough. We were all very impressed with the host, the cottage and the views.

Nothing. I can't comment on the facilities that we didn't use such as the air fryer, washing machine, dish washer and t.v. but in all honesty if they were all not working, it wouldn't have affected my review as that's how impressed we were.

The cottage was exactly how it was described on the pictures and booking.com. Its location was perfect for us very near Dingle and Inch beach. The cottage had everything in it and even more , stock up with all the essentials that people travelling might not have on them. Lots of towels, very clean , new and so well maintained and the decor is very classy. The garden around the cottage is so cute, many flowers, benches and a table to eat outside if weather permits. An amazing vue at the sea and mountains. Really perfect with 4 fully fitted double bedrooms , very comfortable for a family.

There was nothing we didn’t like about this property .

We loved everything about our stay. We booked the house for a friends’ trip and as a base to climb Carrauntoohil. The house is located up on a hill with fantastic views of the mountains and the ocean – the kind of view most of us would love to wake up to. It’s fully equipped and feels more like a home than a typical holiday rental. Maura even welcomed us with freshly baked soda bread, along with milk, cereals, fresh fruit, and more – such a thoughtful touch that we really weren’t expecting. If you’re looking for a place to stay in this area, don’t think twice – book Castle View Cottage straight away!
