The cottage is a calm and peaceful place, perfect for catching a breath away from the busyness of work life.
We loved the light of the bedroom, which opened onto the courtyard, the cozyness of the mezzanine floor and the sofa, and the "lean to" overlooking the courtyard. We were really pleased when the weather was warm enough to cook up a steak and eat outside!
It's a clean and comfortable cottage (not IMMACULATE, but a home from home). Our experience could have been improved with clearer information / signage on arrival, soap in the bathrooms and a little more sweeping of cobwebs in hidden corners. However, these were small things in comparison with how much we enjoyed our stay here.

This cottage is beautifully renovated from an old building. It has charm and character! The location is perfect, a quiet courtyard on the edge of Ventnor Park. It has parking which is always a bonus, and outdoor space for warm days. It is warm and comfortable and very welcoming.

Our first stay in this converted stable on the edge of Ventnor proved an ideal location. Even though a few light bulbs were missing (dealt with promptly) the cafetiere didn't work and the shower was weak, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Castle Cottage. Our local favourites within walking distance were Steephill Cove and the Botanic Gardens.

Nice quirky cottage with plenty of space for the two of us, including two bathrooms, and courtyard space to the front and back. The bed was comfy and heating and hot water plentiful when needed, also Wi-fi and Sky TV. Convenient location for walking in to Ventnor and also Steephill Cove and the Botanic Gardens, either along the cliff path or the road.
