The host was very friendly, she gave us a warm welcome and self-made sweets. The apartment was huge and not far from the city centre or bus station.

Miranda is an absolute gem. The place is HUGE and is basically a private apartment with everything you need. Unlike most places we have been to, Miranda's apartment has a properly equipped kitchen where you can cook decent, nutritious meals instead of like, crappy pasta only because you don't have utensils. Miranda is an incredible person and she even gave us some welcome snacks which were delicious! She can cook dinner and breakfast for you and all the produce is from her garden.

Absolutely adorable accommodation!
Even though the host, Miranda, does not speak a lot of English she is excessively nice and helpful :)
The apartment is roomy and in cool in summer (there is aircon as well if needed)
Everything was available – Wifi, toiletries, fully equipped kitchen
The setting is awesome!
Quiet road in green residential area with lots of gardens and view of the mountains from the terrace - such a lovely place for dinner.
Home cooked meals are available for just 4 Euros. I had one dinner which was chicken and rice, a large salad and fruit for desert.
I was also provided with some local sweets on arrival and once more on my second day there.
All things needed are close by, such as shops, fast food, restaurants, cafes, gas station. It is just a few minutes walking distance to the center of town.
I loved my stay and would come back for sure :)
Three practicalities:
1. I had difficulties with the address. Google maps knows the place as "Villa 19"
2. Parking is available right in front of the gate. The road to the house is unpaved, though. It is in good condition for an unpaved road but if you want to avoid it anyways parking in the adjacent residential area or on the main road is possible and it is just a very short walk of a minute or so.
3. Hot water for showering has to be turned on by a switch at the door and then turned off afterwards.
The mattress in the "pink room" was too soft for my liking. I just don't like these soft foam matresses but it seems to be an Albanian standard.
I would also prefer a duvet with an actual cover instead of a sheet and top blanket but, again, this seems to be the Albanian way.
