Our second stay at te Little Dockray. This time we stayrd in the 2 bedroomed upstais flat. Really nice flat with great facilities. Well positioned in Penrith just off the A66 to get around the Lake District. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the town to meet all needs.

The central location was ideal. It was easy to walk from the main car park (thanks for the tips re the car park at Morrisons) and also if you wanted to get the train. The kitchen was well equipped and it had plenty of space for 3-4 adults. The bedrooms were plenty big enough and the beds were very comfy.
There was nothing we didn’t like but it might be helpful to know that the bathroom is an en-suite to the upstairs bedroom. No issue with a couple but if there’s more than 2 adults staying, particularly if 3/4 adults, that might be worth knowing.
The bathroom light is also very dim. Again, this wasn’t an issue for us in late May as it was light until almost 10pm, but a brighter light might help in darker months.
This was a great property and good value for money though.
