Our stay at Villa Messori Spa was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy and the perfect place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Francesca and Gianmarco Messori are exceptional hosts who clearly care about every detail. From the moment we arrived, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. What made our stay especially memorable were the thoughtful touches Francesca added throughout our visit to help celebrate our anniversary. Some were small, some were more elaborate, but each one was so sweet and made us feel truly special. Her kindness and attention to detail turned an already wonderful stay into an unforgettable one. Breakfast on the second-floor veranda was a delight each morning, featuring an excellent selection of local meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, and baked goods. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The Forest Spa was exactly what we needed after busy days of travel. It was peaceful, restorative, and one of the most relaxing experiences of our vacation. The villa itself is full of character and history, located beside a beautiful historic church and bell tower that add to the unique atmosphere of the property. As wonderful as the villa is, the location is equally special. Castelvetro di Modena is one of the most charming hilltop towns we have ever visited. The town offers several outstanding restaurants, including a Michelin-recognized establishment, and every meal we enjoyed was exceptional. The quality of the food, service, and hospitality throughout the town was remarkable. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend Villa Messori Spa to anyone visiting the Modena region. Francesca and Gianmarco created an experience that we will remember for many years to come.

She was incredibly helpful, organizing various activities for us and ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. The breakfast was generous and delicious, and the facilities were spotlessly clean throughout. As guests from Finland, we were especially thrilled to find a sauna in the yard—it worked perfectly and was such a fantastic addition to our Italian getaway. What truly made our visit special was the warm and attentive hospitality. We felt genuinely cared for the entire time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a personal and high-quality stay in Italy!

Where can I begin with this paradise in Castelvetro. After a very unexpected and traumatic event, my partner and I had to completley change the course of our trip across Europe. In the chaos, we came across Francescas beautiful hotel and decided we would stay there until we had a new plan of action. I cannot begin to express our gratitiude for her kindness, heart and hospitality. Marco came to collect us and take us directly the hotel, which is located in the most beautiful grounds of a castle directly beside a magnificent church. The hotel itself is so beautiful, incredible interior and space - with a terrace that truly is a mini paradise. Francesca has truly opened her heart with this hotel, and every single detail is a note of beauty and style. Her, Marco and Elenora went above and beyond for us, and turned a moment of crisis into a moment of comfort and salvation. To add, the food and wine in the area is truly some of the best we have ever had the pleasure to eat. Villa Messouri - a true paradise built on family, heart and style - we thankyou so much and cannot wait to see you all again.
