Blue Sky Lodge VRV is the perfect spot for a couple's getaway, family vacation, or escape with friends. Relax and unwind in this rustic yet stylish space. A unique mountain getaway awaits with this warm and welcoming two-bed, three-bath cottage, just outside of Murphy, North Carolina. Blue Sky is close to both the Georgia and Tennessee state lines, and minutes from Harrah's Cherokee Casino. 4-Wheel or All-Wheel drive vehicles are recommended, but not necessary
This charming single-level home is in a gated community and offers an indoor gas fireplace for cozy cool evenings, a furnished deck with a five-burner gas grille that is perfect for entertaining friends and family, and an outdoor firepit to gather around at evening's end.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances for preparing home-cooked meals. The open-concept kitchen and great room boast vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors and the home is equipped with central air, as well as a private washer and dryer for your convenience.
Outdoor recreation abounds. Spend adventure-packed days hiking and biking in the nearby national forest, or white water rafting with guided crews just minutes from your home base. Take in the view at local parks, lakes or waterfalls, or take flying lessons at the nearby regional airport. if simplicity is in your nature, you can spend a day in the mountains taking in the sites on one of the many scenic highways in the area.

We had a wonderful time on our mother/daughter weekend! The cabin was gorgeous, very clean & had everything we needed. We enjoyed coffee on the inviting front porch, drove across the nearby mountains, stopping to take photos of amazing waterfalls, visited the shops in the quaint little town of Highlands, NC and then returned to the cabin to enjoy a movie in the cozy living room.
We would definitely stay in this cabin again! Highly recommend!!

I loved the natural setting. Clean mountain air, peace and tranquility. I was in the area for a conference and enjoyed inviting my colleagues to join me for drinks and a barbecue on the deck. It was a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. I will come back again to enjoy some of the hiking and biking in the area.
