Die Unterkunft war super zentral gelegen, in 20 min war man in der Altstadt, in 30 min am Hbf. Und wenn es mal geregnet hat, war auch in 3 Gehminuten eine Bushaltestelle. Am besten fanden wir aber, dass wir schnell in der Natur waren und nach einem kurzen Aufstieg einen atemberaubenden Ausblick auf Edinburgh hatten! Die Gastgeberin war nicht selbst vor Ort, aber der Ablauf war reibungslos und bei Fragen konnten wir sie über Booking kontaktieren. Wir fanden die Fußbodenheizung super gemütlich und angenehm warm!
Unten am Haus ist eine Bar, die war teilweise laut, allerdings nur bis ca. 23 Uhr, also gut aushaltbar. Vor dem Schlafzimmerfenster ist eine sehr helle Straßenlaterne aber man kann sie mit den Vorhängen gut abdunkeln, für jemand der empfindlich ist, würde ich aber eine Augenmaske und Ohrstöpsel empfehlen. Uns hat das jedoch nicht gestört.

Lovely little apartment - comfortable and has everything you need. Beautiful views and handy location for University of Edinburgh, with lots of great restaurants and bars nearby.
The first light in the stairwell wasn't working, so the first flight of stairs was a bit treacherous. I wore an eye mask to sleep because the bedroom curtain is falling off the rail and there are bright street lights outside.

Le chauffage au sol c'est génial,le four (on en a pas chez nous),la vue est superbe,excentré mais proche de tout.
On se sent en sécurité dans ce logement.

Appartement entier pour nous, spacieux. Jolie vue sur Arthur Seat.
L’emplacement pas si proche du centre à pied, le quartier assez bruyant (avec pas mal de jeunes alcoolisés qui passent dans la rue pour aller en soirée), l’état de l’immeuble assez glauque, l’état de l’appartement avec peintures défraîchies et le ménage laissant à désirer (poussière et cheveux au sol dans la salle de bain), la fête de la voisine à l’étage du dessous jusque 2heures du matin jusqu’à ce qu’on lui demande d’arrêter….
